Yeah, I'm a slacker

So I'm finally writing on this thing because I finally feel like it. I really wish that I kept a journal besides writing on this so it'd be easier to remember things, but I don't. Not too much is going on these days other than it's hot out, oh and I quit my job. It wasn't too bad of a job, but I felt like if I stayed there I might end up being there until I'm 40 like some of the other people who work there. They all hate it, but they're stuck. I would absolutely hate making minimum wage at 40-yeah you get raises and stuff, but I figure as small as those raises are and the fact that they are way past due raising the minimum wage that by the time I got a raise, the minimum wage would catch up to what I was making and they don't add your raise to the new rate of pay. You just get screwed and end up making the same as someone who's just starting-I've been there before. Gee, thanks. I went to the Family Fun Fest parade on Saturday with Jade and Ben and guess what was one of the floats? My old manager's car all decked out with my old work logo on it. I guess I kind of forgot that they are a business in that town. I was surprised that they saw me and said hello. Usually they tend to hold grudges-at least from what I've seen. A coworker of mine from that same job was there and saw them too, but she told them "screw you." She also left that job on much different terms than I did. Went to my friend Christina's new house two days ago and Jade played with her daughter and a couple other kids. They had fun playing with the sprinkler in the yard and the big tent the have set up. I didn't realize how much stuff they had until they moved-they must have kept it all in storage before because their relatively big back yard is full of "toys." (They have a four wheeler, a jet ski, a camper, two tents, three ponds, a boat, a dirt bike, and quite a few other expensive items. I was under the impression that they were just as poor, if not poorer than me-but I guess Christina said that they barter and trade for a lot of their items which I didn't know you could do these day. Obviously it's done well for them.) Anyway, yeah, now that I'm done with school I'm pretty much just wasting my time-glad to hear that aren't you Tosh? No, I have cleaned up a bit, but it gets boring and hot, quick. I only turn the ac on when it's absolutely necessary. I promise to have the place up to your codes by the time you get back. But we have been going to different parks and we have a lot of stuff planned for this summer, like the Warped Tour this Sunday.
