Lots to do, kinda

On Saturday we took Jade camping for the first time. We just went to a KOA and so we had a pool and all, so it was kind of cheating, but we didn't have a tv or radio, or a blow up mattress or any other luxuries(okay we had a fan and bug spray, but I'm sorry I can't be as tough as you). Oh and we had a mini golf course and bocce ball, now I'm starting to sound as bad as people who use RVs for "camping". Yeah, it's really camping if you don't have to run outside of your tent to pee or you can turn on the tube and sit on the couch, not to mention have a real bed. Anyway, it was pretty fun and we cooked burgers on the grill and toasted marshmallows(I burned mine to a crisp, mmmm). On Sunday I had my first work party with this job and it was pretty fun. We went to Space Aliens and our food and drinks were paid for. I had a taco burger with a baked potato and a Martian Mudslide, yummy. Sorry, I'm making myself hungry talking about it, I don't have real food in my house-I'm a college student, what do you expect? A lot of my coworkers couldn't stay long, which was kind of sad because I wanted to get to know more of them better outside of work. About five of us stayed after everyone left and we sat on the curb in front of the restaurant and talked for two hours about everything. It was really fun and I think I know those women a whole lot better. In fact I exchanged numbers with one of them because we do seem to have a lot in common. When it was time to go one the women, Jess, saw me starting to walk and offered me a ride which I accepted. We then went to Walmart and spent an hour there(evil, evil place-it just sucks you in). I didn't end up getting home until 1 and I had to work the next day unlike most of the others. It was fun, though, so it was worth it. This weekend my best friend in the whole wide world is coming over. I'm so excited. I have so much stuff to give her. My mom is also coming over tomorrow to help me clean up the place because I have way too much crap and I don't know where to even begin. It's probably better anyway to have someone who has no attachment to the items to help sort out crap from stuff to keep. Anyway, I spent a long time yesterday cleaning my aquarium and it's already dirty so I think I may need to invest in a better filter. This sucks, if I had known it would be so much work and money I would have definately waited.
