Sinfully Delicious

Last night Ben and I went to Sin City and it was so good. I knew it was going to be because I had heard it was, but I had no idea how good. The best thing is that although it was somewhat confusing with the jumping around, it was so good that I want to watch it again to understand it better. It left me raving about it and wondering out loud why some things were the way they were and how did they think of such brilliant scenarios. Sorry, for my ranting, but it's been a little while since I have seen a truly original movie in the theater, or at all. I did see Kingdom of Heaven a few weeks ago, but although it was good it was a bit like other movies I have seen before. The way this movie was filmed was like Schindler's List gone terribly strange(although both movies were about good and evil and I loved both, only one was where Quentin Tarantino had a part in helping to make it the way it was). The little girl in the red dress became the seductive woman in the red dress. Anyway if you couldn't tell, I loved it. In other news, I finally ventured out of the house and into a bar. On Thursday we went to D.B. Searle's and saw Shades of Grey. It was also $1 Captain drinks night so I was happy. I LOVE the Captain. We actually were able to find a table and although it was right below the band it wasn't so bad. We didn't have to see them to know that they were good. I almost forgot-even though there was a band playing there was no cover. It made me very happy not to have to spend a small fortune at the bar just to get in. Also not too many people were smoking and they seemed to be off in their own corner of the bar. Anyway tonight we are planning on going to House of Wax and I don't care if it sucks 'cuz it's only a buck. Besides it something to do and I don't have to work tomorrow and I didn't have to ask off either.
